Job summary

Wellness Pet Company is hiring a Production Operator I for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) at the Decatur, AR plant. The role focuses on setting up, operating, and disassembling packaging equipment in a GMP-compliant environment to produce premium pet foods and related products.

You will follow SOPs, perform routine quality checks, and maintain documentation while supporting safety and cleanliness standards across the production area.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring limited or no prior experience.
• Follows standard operating procedures and GMPs to ensure quality and safety.
• Moderate physical effort, ability to lift 35–50 pounds.
• Experience in production environments preferred, especially food/beverage packaging.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and disassemble processing equipment per SOPs and GMPs.
• Monitor production, run checks, and follow schedule throughout shift.
• Perform in-process quality checks and maintain cleanliness in assigned area.
• Changeover/setup for runs, monitor line, and document logs and product quality.
