Job summary

Wellness Pet Company in Decatur, AR is seeking a Production Operator I on the 3rd shift to set up, operate and maintain packaging lines for premium pet food products. You will follow SOPs, GMPs and safety procedures, perform quality checks and assist with line changeovers within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires consumer-focused approach and accountability.
• Experience with packaging systems and conveying equipment.
• Previous production experience, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate and follow safety and GMP policies.
• Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and disassemble processing equipment in accordance with SOPs and GMPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Monitor production schedule and adjust as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and logs throughout shift.
• Assist with line changeovers and minor maintenance as needed.
