Job summary

Randstad in Cornelia, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a night shift (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM). The role ensures reliability and safety of plant facilities, with responsibilities in electrical and mechanical upkeep and root-cause troubleshooting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (GED), 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, and be comfortable with 12-hour nights; experience with AC/DC drives, control panels, and wiring is a plus. This position is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Technology is a plus.
• 1–3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance or plant electrician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical and mechanical repairs on industrial machinery and facility systems.
• Locate, diagnose, and resolve power failures, control issues, and system faults.
• Maintain AC/DC drives, control panels, and assigned electrical hardware.
• Wire and install new equipment per technical specs and local codes.
• Execute preventive maintenance and keep detailed maintenance records.
• Operate welding, soldering, drill presses, grinders and other shop equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs and disruptions.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA guidelines, Lockout/Tagout, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other maintenance duties and cross-functional tasks as assigned.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Type: Full-Time | Night Shift (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)

Location: Cornelia, GA

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Technician to join our operational team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, reliability, and safety of our plant facilities, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate possess technical aptitude in both electrical and mechanical systems, excels at root-cause troubleshooting, and is comfortable working a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform complex electrical and mechanical repairs on industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Efficiently locate, diagnose, and resolve power failures, control issues, and system faults.
• Drive & System Maintenance: Maintain AC/DC drives, control panels, and assigned electrical hardware.
• Equipment Installation: Wire and integrate new machinery and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and local codes.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed, accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Shop Equipment Operation: Safely operate shop tools, including welding, soldering, drill presses, grinders, and related maintenance equipment.
• Emergency Response: Promptly respond to emergency repair requests and operational disruptions.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, Lockout/Tagout protocols, and workplace housekeeping standards.
• General Support: Perform additional maintenance duties and cross‑functional tasks as assigned by management.
