Job summary

Forest View Manor in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate personal care for residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while helping with mobility and daily activities.

You will administer medications, support mental and emotional well-being through social activities, and maintain meticulous care records. This role requires a 3rd shift (11pm–7am) with every other weekend and holiday, plus background check clearance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• CBRF Certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
• Ability to lift and move residents safely as required.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
• Availability to work 3rd shift hours (11pm - 7am), including every other weekend and holiday.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
