Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences in Longmont, CO is hiring a Thin Film Process Engineer II to support transfer and development of new products and processes. You will back manufacturing, maintain and improve equipment, and ensure product quality and yield.

The role requires 5–7 years in R&D or production with regulated environment experience, and familiarity with GDP, IQ/OQ/PQ, and DOE/SPC analysis. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years in R&D or production with process improvement and scale-up.
• Experience in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO) preferred.
• Experience in medical device or diagnostics preferred.
• Certifications such as ISO, PMP, LEAN, Six Sigma, cGMP preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining support to operations using continuous improvement and RCA.
• Ensure on-time equipment milestone deliveries.
• Recommend equipment and process modifications to improve yields.
• Develop high-level capital equipment integration protocols for manufacturing.
• Conduct DOE and SPC to identify root causes of yield loss and improve quality.
• Document work to meet IQ/OQ/PQ requirements.
• Collaborate with design staff to ensure compatible processes and designs.
• Translate design requirements into production tooling.
• Create SOPs and detailed work instructions in GDP framework.
• Train manufacturing staff on proper processes and safety.
• Ensure safety rules and protocol compliance.
