Job summary

Scope Services, Inc. is seeking a Thermostat Field Technician in North Little Rock, AR to perform field installations, repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. A company vehicle will be provided to qualified hires.

The role requires basic electrical knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in remote areas. Training is provided to develop product expertise and certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must pass Criminal Background & MVR Check & Drug Screen.
• 2 years' experience in HVAC controls installation, repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of web based programs, Excel, Word, and Microsoft email.

Responsibilities

• Tests HVAC systems before and after installation, installs controls and completes work orders.
• Communicates with customer on arrival and before leaving the site; promotes add-on work.
• Manages assigned work to meet professional execution, on time and customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to all corporate and customer safety standards.
• May provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations.

Scope Services, Inc. is seeking Field Technicians for completing Field Installations, Repairs, and Preventative Maintenance. We are seeking Candidates with HVAC experience and some Electrical knowledge.

Field Technician - Utility/HVAC Demand Response Unit Installer

Role and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. Properly completes required project and service documentation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Tests HVAC systems before and after installation, Installs controls, completes and closes necessary work orders.

2. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Promotes approved add-on work.

3. Manages assigned work to meet professional execution, of time and customer satisfaction. Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with the Local Manager and supervisors.

4. Adheres to all Corporate and customer safety standards.

5. May provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations. Issues customer Handouts and Helps them complete the customer agreement form.

Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Has some sort of experience with electricity.

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with field technicians, Utility representatives, and customers while maintaining a positive attitude is a must.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in remote areas with or without direct supervision.
• Customer service oriented
