Qualifications

• Experience installing thermoplastic pavement markings.
• Experience operating thermoplastic application equipment.
• Ability to read plans, layouts, and pavement marking details.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to work outdoors in hot/cold weather.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects require.

Responsibilities

• Install preformed and extruded thermoplastic pavement markings.
• Operate thermoplastic melting kettles and application equipment.
• Apply crosswalks, stop bars, arrows, legends, lane lines, and other markings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and layout prior to installation.
• Measure and lay out markings according to plans and specs.
• Maintain thermoplastic temperatures and application thickness.
• Assist with traffic control setup and removal.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Work with crew to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other pavement maintenance duties as assigned.
