Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a CDL Operator for pavement marking in Houston, TX. You will join a highway striping crew responsible for applying thermoplastic and waterborne paints, operating specialized equipment, and adhering to DOT safety and quality guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring a valid CDL, strong work ethic, and mechanical aptitude. You must pass background, MVR, and drug testing. Training provided for operating various equipment used on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or related field is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks for criminal record, driving record, and substance testing.

Responsibilities

• Work with highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint and other pavement marking materials.
• Operate equipment that installs pavement markings, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders.
• Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Properly complete time and inventory cards.
• Maintain proper safety equipment and uniform required for each job.
