Job summary

Novolex is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to install and maintain thermoforming tooling, ensure quality output, and support continuous production. The role requires blueprint reading, mechanical aptitude, and safe operation of tooling and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have LVL 4 OP or higher or strong mechanical knowledge, 3–5 years in extrusion/thermoforming, and the ability to work Monday–Friday on dayshift. Training and growth opportunities accompany a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• LVL 4 OP or higher or strong mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with extrusion/thermoforming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and changeover tooling and set process conditions.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Maintain tooling and assemble/install tooling on equipment.
• Document SAP work orders and supply parts as needed.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and ensure product quality.
