Job summary

Sabert Corporation is hiring for a Set-up Mechanic in Shepherdsville, KY. You will ensure equipment is prepared and maintained for top performance, focusing on thermoforming machines, tooling, and changeovers to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include tooling maintenance, safety compliance, operator training, and collaboration with maintenance for repairs and improvements. A high school diploma and thermoforming experience are preferred; 40 hours per week on a 12-hour rotational schedule

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical ability and knowledge of thermoforming processes.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tooling Maintenance: Inspecting and organizing tooling to ensure functionality.
• Safety and Housekeeping: Maintaining safety switches and guards and following lock-out procedures.
• Training and Development: Training operators on basic safety and procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Setting up forming and trimming equipment for quality parts.
• Equipment Coordination: Coordinating with management on repairs and improvements.
• Maintenance Support: Assisting maintenance and supporting the Production Manager as needed.
