Job summary

WILBERT INC is seeking a Robotics Technician to program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems used in thermoforming and plastics manufacturing. The role supports safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years in industrial automation and a degreed background in robotics or related fields, with experience in PLCs, sensors, and electrical systems. Thermoforming experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation, Electronics, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing equipment maintenance.
Thermoforming manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems used in injection molding and thermoforming.
Assist in design and optimization of automated work cells for production.
Analyze robotic issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Provide input for fixtures, tooling, and end-of-arm tooling designs.
Maintain robots, PLCs, sensors, and vision systems; support maintenance programs.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, and Production teams to optimize systems.
