Job summary

Wilbert Inc., part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a technically skilled professional to design and optimize robotic cells within our plastics operations in the United States. The role involves fixture design input, maintaining work cells, and establishing production standards, with responsibilities spanning electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CAD usage.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least two years of mechanical experience, and familiarity with PLCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ mechanical experience.
• Experience in electronics (including PLCs) required.
• Experience in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, reading blueprints/schematics required.
• Exposure to/experience with CAD programs preferred.
• Experience in the plastics industry preferred.
• Experience using a forklift preferred; obtain forklift license.
• All required WilbertU Courses based on job title.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for fixture design on new and existing programs.
• Assist with sourcing equipment, parts, supplies, and technical support.
• Develop and maintain layout of work cells.
• Establish production/process standards.
• Establish and monitor maintenance schedules.
• Write and update work instructions for robotic cells.
• Train personnel on equipment and processes.
• Maintain robots, machinery, and PLCs.
• Analyze robotic problems and assist root-cause analysis.
• Provide feedback for long-term machine use/efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements for safety and productivity.
• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment.
