Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking Production Operators for the Paragould, AR facility to ensure efficient production and packaging of quality products. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential for night shifts.

Shifts available include Night (6:55pm–7:00am) and Day (6:55am–7:00pm). Candidates should be able to lift up to 70lbs and work in a loud, high-volume environment while following GMPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming equipment including extruders, ovens, former and trim press at targeted efficiencies while maintaining product quality and following GMPs.
• Troubleshoot and adjust thermoforming equipment settings.
• Ensure the quality of the product meets standards through visual inspections and testing equipment.
• Use a computer to retrieve and enter product information.
• Ensure labels and packaging materials match product and work orders.
• Assist with changeovers and minor PMs.
• Promote timely and effective communication between packers, other operators, supervisors, and support staff.
• Follow and maintain all safety policies and critical safety behaviors.
• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 70lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day.
