Qualifications

• Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years in plastic production or thermoforming environments.
• Solid knowledge of thermoplastics and their thermoforming applications.
• Experience with process refinement methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and technical task execution skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine thermoforming workflows to boost output quality and speed.
• Conduct root cause investigations to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Collaborate with departments to transition new items into production.
• Track manufacturing metrics to identify performance patterns and opportunities.
• Provide guidance to shop floor on machinery operation and standards.
• Create and maintain SOPs and technical work instructions.
