Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. in the Madison, WI area seeks an experienced Thermoforming Process Engineer to lead startup of forming and trimming processes for thermoformed parts.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in thermoforming, tool design, and plastics trimming. You will drive continuous improvement using lean methods (Kaizen), ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborate with the plant Leadership Team to meet SQDCP targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up of forming and trimming processes for thermoformed parts.
• Provide subject matter expertise in thermoforming and trimming within Manufacturing Engineering.
• Develop and implement safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals (SQDCP).
• Develop OEE and quality improvement plans with Plant Leadership to meet targets.
• Coordinate capital projects, CARs, and equipment start-up activities.
