Job summary

Backyard Products in Monroe, MI, is seeking a Thermoforming Supervisor to lead daily thermoforming operations, ensure production schedules, maintain safety and quality, and coach a growing team.

You’ll drive process improvements, monitor metrics, and partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to keep production on track in a hands-on, on-site role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Culture-centric, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing employee performance, attendance, and scheduling.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily thermoforming operations to meet schedules and quality.
• Plan and coordinate department work to maximize efficiency.
• Manage shift priorities and adjust production schedules to meet demand.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Recommend and implement production method improvements.
