Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) in Huntley, IL. You will set up thermoforming machines, mount dies and molds, load materials, and run parts per job specs, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, completing job tickets, and coordinating with packers/inspectors to address quality issues. High school diploma and 6 months of operator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of machine operator experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and perform math
• Experience in manufacturing and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications.
• Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine.
• Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.
• Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks.
• Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
• Completes required job tickets.
• Works with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.
• Directs Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
