Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Machine Operator I – Thermoforming in Huntley, IL (F135 Main – 11320 E. Main Street). 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, pay rate $24.89/hour.

You will set up and operate thermoforming equipment, load raw materials, monitor performance, and perform quality checks to ensure spec conformity. Ideal candidates have 3+ years thermoforming experience, 6+ months setup/operator experience, and ability to read calipers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of thermoforming experience required.
• Read, write and perform basic math for production paperwork.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up thermoforming machines according to job specifications.
• Mount dies and molds and load material into machines.
• Operate thermoforming equipment and maintain production flow.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
• Accurately complete job tickets and production paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Stand, lift up to 50 pounds and work in a heat/grease environment.
