The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement, laboratory system assembly, setup, and troubleshooting, with onsite work in San Jose, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with system assembly, test setup, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection to support engineering validation activities.
• Assemble, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory test systems and equipment.
• Execute thermal test procedures and document test results, observations, and findings.
• Support the setup and validation of liquid-cooling test systems and related thermal test configurations.
• Analyze test data and communicate results to engineering stakeholders to support technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, test records, and technical reports.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement, laboratory system assembly, setup, and troubleshooting.

Location:

Onsite - San Jose, Ca

Pay Rate:

$27 - $27.69 (hourly)

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection to support engineering validation activities.
• Assemble, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory test systems and equipment.
• Execute thermal test procedures and document test results, observations, and findings.
• Support the setup and validation of liquid‑cooling test systems and related thermal test configurations.
• Analyze test data and communicate results to engineering stakeholders to support technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams on test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, test records, and technical reports.

Internal Responsibilities

• Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
• Attend itD networking events (in person and virtual).
• Work with leadership on career fast‑track opportunities.

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience with system assembly, test setup, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with liquid‑cooling test setup and validation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical material properties, particularly metals, thermal interface materials (TIM), and EMI gasket materials.
• Familiarity with thermal analysis and simulation tools, such as FloTHERM.

Education

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent practical experience.
