Job summary

Chroma ATE, Inc. (USA) is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer to lead performance testing of thermal forcing systems in production and R&D environments, validating functionality and driving improvements. You will leverage thermal modeling, sensors, and data analysis to optimize system behavior.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to develop test plans, analyze results, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/thermal engineering required.
• 3–5 years of thermal testing and system validation experience.
• Experience with thermal modeling software and data acquisition.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to interpret sensor data and optimize thermal control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing of finished thermal forcing systems to ensure specifications.
• Develop test plans for new product development with R&D teams.
• Analyze thermal efficiency, stability, and response times under varying conditions.
• Utilize sensors, data acquisition, and TTVs to assess system behavior.
• Document results and recommendations; support regulatory standards.
