Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) is hiring an Engineer II, Thermal Systems in Riverside, CA to design and analyze HVAC, Fire Suppression and cooling systems for heavy-duty buses.

You will work with CAD, model 3D designs, and produce detailed drawings while supporting senior engineers on moderate complexity projects. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Engineering Technology, 2–4 years of related experience, CAD proficiency (Inventor/SolidWorks/Creo) and knowledge of GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo) and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development, and routing of HVAC, Fire Suppression, radiators and other thermal systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Uses CAD software to model 3D designs and generate detailed 2D drawings.
• Contributes to engineering changes through ECN processes and documentation.
• Reviews material part specifications and BOMs for manufacturing readiness.
• Delivers complete engineering packages with manufacturing efficiency in mind.
• Interacts with hourly production and leadership to communicate progress on initiatives.
