Job summary

ElDorado National California (ENC) is seeking an Engineer II, Thermal Systems to assist the design, development, and analysis of HVAC, cooling and related thermal systems for heavy‑duty transit buses. This onsite Riverside, CA role supports senior engineers and participates in ECN‑driven design changes.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree, 2–4 years of experience, proficiency in CAD tools, and knowledge of GD&T, with strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills to drive robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• CAD software experience (Inventor/SolidWorks/Creo).
• Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Interest in researching cooling systems for heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, development, and analysis of HVAC, radiator and other thermal systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Uses CAD software to model 3D designs and produce 2D drawings.
• Assists with ECN processes and documentation.
• Reviews material specs and BOMs; supports manufacturing packaging of designs.
• Learns manufacturing processes with emphasis on thermal systems.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
