Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Concord, NH is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and apply thermal spray coatings for protection against heat, wear and corrosion.

You will work at the intersection of science and manufacturing, translating test results into scalable processes and product improvements. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, hands-on industrial experience, and the ability to manage projects and collaborate with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in industrial, automotive or laboratory environments.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage tasks.
• Familiarity with thermal spray technologies preferred.
• Basic programming (Python, MATLAB or C) and CAD tooling (SolidWorks or Inventor) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in research and application of thermal spray coatings for thermal, wear and corrosion protection.
• Align technical parameters with commercial project objectives to achieve desired outcomes.
• Operate thermal spray equipment and design/modify tooling and fixturing for new and improved processes.
• Analyze data and resolve technical challenges to drive product and process development forward.
• Document experiments and maintain operating procedures, safety training and technical instructions.
• Collaborate with customers and teams while contributing to productivity improvements using Lean and Six Sigma.
