Johnson Controls is a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead thermal management solutions for mission-critical facilities and to work with the Global Data Center Technical Selling team to deliver innovative cooling architectures.

The role requires 10+ years in mechanical cooling design and 5+ years in data center projects, traveling globally. Salary range is $130,000-$165,000 with a bonus plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing mechanical cooling systems (chillers, chilled water systems, etc.)
• Minimum 5 years in data center cooling design
• Strong knowledge of mission-critical cooling systems and market trends
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience writing product specifications for end users, consultants, and installers
• Experience in strategic planning, marketing and market research
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently
• Willingness to travel globally

Responsibilities

• Identify customer challenges and tailor cooling solutions for data centers
• Define scalable, repeatable thermal management solutions across multiple phases/sites
• Provide in-depth technical support on facility water cooling products
• Collaborate with R&D, Training, Product Management and Tech Support to align with market needs
• Develop reference designs for facility water production for various cooling architectures
• Engage with industry partners and stakeholders; participate in conferences and guides
