Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Staff Data Center Thermal Systems Engineer for its Advanced Technology & Innovation group in New Freedom, PA. You will lead long-range planning, define integration standards, and coordinate product family specifications for modular thermal stacks.

Must be a system architect with cross-domain expertise across thermal, controls, electrical and mechanical domains. The role requires 14+ years of experience in released thermal products, chiller or large HVAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 14+ years of experience with multiple released thermal products and systems.
• Experience in chiller or large industrial HVAC industries.
• System architect for data center thermal solutions.
• Expert across thermal, controls, electrical and mechanical domains.
• Hands-on in design calculations, macro/VBA data analysis, CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range planning for business unit thermal products.
• Define integration standards and ensure modular thermal stack interoperability.
• Coordinate product family specifications and design guidelines.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff globally.
• Act as system architect for cross-domain thermal solutions.
