Job summary

Amphenol Corporation, via its ACS division, seeks a Thermal R&D Engineer in Valley Green, PA to advance power solution thermal management. You will work with cross-functional teams and customers to develop and validate thermal solutions using CFD, modeling, and lab testing.

Qualifications

• BSME or BSEE (Master's Degree preferred).
• 5+ years of CFD simulation and thermal analysis experience.
• Familiar with EIA, UL standards.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermal dynamics, and cooling methods.
• Familiar with CFD tools including ANSYS Icepak or FloTHERM.
• Proficient in Creo or SolidWorks for 3D modeling.
• Strong ability to present thermal solutions and results to teams/customers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate modeling, thermal simulations, and characterization of power products and system architecture.
• Correlate simulation results with test data (lab at Valley Green facility).
• Provide design guidance to customers on power applications against design requirements.
• Perform design feasibility experiments to determine thermal impact of product solutions.
• Build technical relationships with customer engineering and thermal teams.
• Provide world-class technical support to customers.
