Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus is seeking a Thermal Operations Technician (Key Zone – Grade D) to support production safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves working with production teams to manage line assignments, communicate daily production plans, and assist with tool changes and setup.

Candidate will monitor line status, ensure quality checks, and mentor others while adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies on site in Arden, NC.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to motivate others and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and regulations.
• Basic blueprint reading and use of hand tools.
• Experience with SAP/OMS/Andon transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and elevate day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Support line leadership with staffing and communication.
• Track production plans and status with team leaders.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and quality checks.
• Mentor others in operating production equipment.
