Job summary

CoolIT, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to design and validate liquid cooling solutions for high‑performance electronics. You will lead design activities from concept through production, creating CAD models and documentation while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and test teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in thermal–mechanical product development, and experience with CAD/SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical engineering principles and experience in mass production.
• Experience with CAD and simulation tools to create production-ready models.
• DFMEA, DFM, GD&T, and tolerance analysis experience.
• Proven ability to lead design from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal-mechanical products and components with focus on performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Lead product development activities from concept through production, including design studies and prototype development.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation per standards and GD&T.
• Conduct thermal, fluid, and structural analyses and perform testing and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
