Job summary

CoolIT, an Ecolab company, seeks a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to design and validate liquid cooling systems for high‑performance electronics. You will lead from concept to production, create CAD models and BOMs, and work with customers to ensure integration and performance goals are met.

You will apply thermal, fluid, and mechanical engineering expertise across design verification, testing, and root‑cause analysis while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing mechanical components for mass production.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, PLM, and mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal‑mechanical products and components (passive cold plates, manifolds, modular assemblies) focusing on performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Lead product development from concept through production, including design studies, prototyping, verification, risk assessment, and release to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation per GD&T and DFM standards.
• Conduct thermal, fluid flow, structural analyses, testing, data analysis, and root-cause investigations to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful product integration.
