HYDAC seeks an Application Engineer - Thermal Management to drive custom engine cooling solutions, working with customers and internal teams to define requirements and validate performance from prototype to production.

The role emphasizes technical engagement, cross-functional teamwork, and continuous improvement across technology groups, with substantial travel and a focus on manufacturability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical interface between customers, sales, and internal engineering teams to deliver optimized HYDAC solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and partners.
• Translate customer needs into system-level requirements; select and optimize HYDAC products and systems.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, and validation efforts; stay current on industry trends.
• Collaborate with sales, product, development, lab, and operations teams to ensure scalable solutions.
• Document customer interactions and technical solutions across the full lifecycle.
