Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer to advance state-of-the-art testing capabilities within the Naval Nuclear Program. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or science field with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Implement test instrumentation and apparatus for thermal hydraulic testing.
  • Specify tests, process data, and analyze results.
  • Develop test section designs and advanced diagnostic techniques for high temperature/high pressure environments.
  • Collaborate with multiple groups to meet end-user needs and testing timelines.
