Job summary

EarthRite Pest Control is seeking a Thermal Heat Technician - Bed Bug Specialist to join our Columbus-area team. You’ll operate heat equipment, set up treatments, and move quickly delivering top-notch pest control services to residential and commercial clients.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, the ability to drive truck/trailer, and a safety-first mindset. Base location Ostrander, OH with a day-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive truck and trailer, with backing up trailer into driveways or street in tight spaces.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, reach, and work on feet in warm environments.
• Reliable transportation to base location in Ostrander, OH.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal heat treatment equipment at residential and commercial sites.
• Set up industrial heaters, high-temp fans, generators and power setups.
• Move and prep furniture to ensure heat penetrates every corner.
• Monitor temperatures across precision zones and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain tools and service vehicle in good condition.

Thermal heat treatment is an active, high-powered process. You'll be on your feet, moving fast, and getting hands-on with top-of-the-line equipment.

Bring the Energy: Pull into residential and commercial sites ready to deliver exceptional service and reassure clients.

Set Up the Heat: Operate industrial heaters, high-temp fans, generators, and heavy-duty power setups to bring treatment areas to peak bug-busting temperatures.

Stay Active: Move, reposition, and prep furniture and belongings so heat penetrates every single corner (comfortable lifting 50+ lbs required).

Monitor & Execute: Track temperatures across precision zones to ensure total elimination, following all safety and equipment protocols.

Master Your Craft: Gear up with required daily PPE, keep your service vehicle stocked, and maintain your tools like a pro.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License & clean driving record (Required); CDL is a nice bonus! Ability to drive truck & trailer + back up a trailer safely into driveway's or on the street in tight spaces from time to time

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, reach, and work on your feet in warm environments.

Reliable transportation to work (Base location in Ostrander, OH).
