EarthRite Pest Control in Columbus, OH is seeking a high-energy Thermal Heat Technician - Bed Bug Specialist. You will operate industrial heaters and high-temp equipment at residential and commercial sites, delivering fast, effective heat treatments to eliminate bed bugs.

You should be physically active, able to lift 50+ lbs, and ready to work Mon-Fri with a strong focus on safety and quality, in a fast-paced field role with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in warm environments.
• Pass background screening.
• Base location Ostrander, OH accessibility and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial heaters and high-temp equipment to raise treatment areas to peak temperatures.
• Move and prep furniture to ensure heat penetrates all areas.
• Monitor temperatures across zones and follow safety protocols.
• Keep tools and PPE in service-ready condition.
• Travel to residential and commercial sites to deliver heat treatment services.

The Mission (What You'll Be Doing)

Thermal heat treatment is an active, high-powered process. You'll be on your feet, moving fast, and getting hands-on with top-of-the-line equipment.

Bring the Energy: Pull into residential and commercial sites ready to deliver exceptional service and reassure clients.

Set Up the Heat: Operate industrial heaters, high-temp fans, generators, and heavy-duty power setups to bring treatment areas to peak bug-busting temperatures.

Stay Active: Move, reposition, and prep furniture and belongings so heat penetrates every single corner (comfortable lifting 50+ lbs required).

Monitor & Execute: Track temperatures across precision zones to ensure total elimination, following all safety and equipment protocols.

Master Your Craft: Gear up with required daily PPE, keep your service vehicle stocked, and maintain your tools like a pro.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License & clean driving record (Required); CDL is a nice bonus! Ability to drive truck & trailer + back up a trailer safely into driveway's or on the street in tight spaces from time to time

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, reach, and work on your feet in warm environments.

Reliable transportation to work (Base location in Ostrander, OH).
