Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years of programming experience (Python, MATLAB, EES) required.
• Experience in thermal design of spacecraft hardware is a plus.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop and ANSYS Workbench preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the thermal design of spacecraft, launch-vehicle, and hardware end-to-end from concept to flight hardware.
• Translate thermal analysis into design decisions—materials, coatings, insulation, interfaces, heater and TCS architecture.
• Automate workflow to reduce design cycle effort.
• Pursue performance and robustness improvements in hardware.
• Reduce burden on other groups and improve overall system efficiency.
• Produce quality documentation and review peer work.
