Uncover is seeking a skilled Thermal Engineer to own the design and analysis of thermal control for optical terminals, benches, and upcoming payloads. You will ensure sub-micron alignment via robust thermal management and collaborate with optics, electronics, and payload teams across deployment sites.

You will spend significant time in the lab, build models, and defend design choices with data. This role emphasizes ownership and hands-on problem solving in a lean environment.

Qualifications

• Thermal design depth with exposure to precision hardware.
• Experience with high-power components and cooling.
• Hands-on thermal test and model correlation.
• Familiarity with material/space-environment effects.

Responsibilities

• Thermal design and analysis for optical terminal, bench, and payload.
• Maintain sub-micron alignment through thermal control.
