Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our Active Thermal Solutions team in Etters, PA. You will develop and optimize active thermal management for high-speed interconnects, collaborating with customers to define boundary conditions and performance requirements.

You will perform thermal simulations using CFD tools, analyze temperature distributions, and validate designs through lab testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in thermal design/analysis for cooling electronic systems.
• Proficiency with CFD tools and thermal instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to gather boundary conditions and performance requirements.
• Develop and execute thermal models using CFD tools; analyze heat dissipation.
• Plan and conduct thermal testing; correlate results with simulations.
• Optimize designs and prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
