Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Thermal Engineer to develop and optimize active thermal solutions for high-density interconnect systems in Etters, PA. You will model, simulate, test, and refine thermal designs to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability goals.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in thermal design for electronic cooling, expertise in CFD tools, instrumentation, and CAD, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in thermal design or analysis for cooling electronic systems or interconnect hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to define boundary conditions and performance requirements.
• Develop and execute CFD-based thermal models and analyze airflow and heat dissipation.
• Plan and conduct thermal testing in the lab, correlating data with models.
• Optimize designs to balance performance, cost, and manufacturability and report findings.
