Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Plant Technician to operate and maintain thermal energy storage and boiler systems at the Big Stone City site in South Dakota. You will support installation, commissioning, and operations, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to safely construct and run first-of-a-kind industrial installations.

The role spans diverse levels and emphasizes safety, hands-on diagnostics, SOP creation, and mentoring within a rapidly growing, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations experience with control systems (DCS/SCADA/PLCs).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in hazardous environments.
• Hands-on with test equipment, calibration tools, and machine diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot boilers, generators, control systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and hot work permits.
• Create and maintain SOPs to improve operations and maintenance practices.
• Mentor team members and provide hands-on training in technical processes.
