Job summary

Vertiv is looking for a Thermal System Controls Architect to define the technical architecture for system-level thermal controls and optimization solutions. You will be responsible for translating customer requirements into complete controls solutions, including hardware architecture and software scope. This role requires collaboration across various teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Project Management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, experience with HVAC controls, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel is expected for customer-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in HVAC controls, liquid cooling controls, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hydronic and liquid cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the system architecture for thermal controls and optimization.
• Support project economics, budgetary estimates, and pricing inputs.
• Translate customer and project needs into clear technical requirements.
