Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Controls Deployment Leader – Thermal Management to oversee deployment of control systems for cooling solutions in data centers across the Americas. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science and significant experience in HVAC controls.

Responsibilities include leading technical and commissioning efforts, supporting manufacturing, and driving quality assurance. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in thermal management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HVAC controls, data center cooling, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• 5+ years hands-on with PLCs, industrial controls, and communication protocols.
• Proven experience deploying thermal systems in data centers or critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of control systems for cooling solutions.
• Coordinate with multiple production facilities for manufacturing support.
• Drive thermal performance optimization and energy efficiency.

Skills

Proficiency with embedded controls

Deep technical expertise in thermal management and controls

Effective communication with customers and stakeholders

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or Computer Science

Tools

Configuration management tools (PD Cloud, version control)
