Job summary

Siemens AI Factory seeks an AI Factory Thermal Cooling Simulation Engineer to model and simulate thermal and cooling systems for high-density AI infrastructure. You will translate complex designs into robust simulations ensuring reliability and performance.

You will apply CFD airflow, hydraulic cooling modeling, and transient simulations using StarCCM+ and Amesim, collaborating with architects and engineers to influence design decisions and optimize system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of CFD airflow and heat transfer experience.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling of liquid cooling loops.
  • Ability to perform steady-state and transient simulations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Apply CFD airflow and heat transfer modeling to optimize AI Factory cooling.
  • Develop hydraulic modeling of liquid cooling loops including CDUs.
  • Run steady-state and transient simulations of cooling systems.
  • Translate design concepts into thermal simulations for architects.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and AI infra teams.
  • Leverage Siemens tools to model system performance.
