Job summary

The intern will assist in developing technically sound, tailored solutions for customer review and RFPs, review orders, and help ensure accurate scope and specifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent in English with technical terminology.
• Understanding of commercial infrastructure design objectives and performance factors.

Responsibilities

• Provides applications sales support.
• Applies Quote Configurator to provide comprehensive quote support.
• Performs equipment performance runs on Vertiv thermal management equipment.
• Develops tailored solutions based on customer requirements and RFPs.
• Reviews custom equipment orders and provides technical instruction throughout the order workflow.
• Executes technical sales operations tasks such as change order processing and engineer to order (ETO).
• Assists product support to Offering Managers and may participate in new product development.
