Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Therapy Technician (CNA) for the Inpatient Rehabilitation department to support therapists and patients in a faith-based, caring environment.

You will assist therapists, transport patients, order DME for discharge, inventory supplies, communicate schedule changes, clean equipment, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires a HS diploma, Maryland CNA, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant credential is required.
• 1 year of therapy-related experience (PT/OT/SLP) is preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in treating patients.
• Transport patients to and from scheduled activities.
• Order patient durable medical equipment for discharge.
• Inventory of supplies and documents.
• Communicate schedule changes to patients and families.
• Clean equipment such as wheelchairs and mats.
