Schedule:

Start times are typically 8AM or 8:30AM. The role involves four weekend shifts per month, with one compensatory day. Holiday work is required for certain holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas, on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR AED or BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Preferred: 1 year of therapy technician experience in hospital or outpatient rehab settings

Job Duties:

• Knowledge of laws, policies, and standards affecting patient care
• Understanding contraindications and safety issues related to patient treatment
• Building rapport with patients and families
• Transferring, transporting, and positioning patients
• Preparing and maintaining equipment
• Communicating patient observations to therapists
• Organizing treatment schedules efficiently
• Training and supervising other staff and volunteers
• Performing additional duties as assigned
