Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance hands-on patient care with team leadership. You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians while delivering skilled therapy and monitoring patient progress.

The role requires a state license in PT/OT/SLP, BLS certification, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience. Leadership experience and a clinical ladder or specialty cert are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT/OT or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline‑specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
