Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader in Sioux Falls to lead clinical teams while continuing hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists and support staff, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient responses to therapies across PT, OT, or SLP disciplines.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, leadership development, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve strong patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS (CPR) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience or Therapy Clinical Ladder/specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
