Job summary

West Cecil Health Center seeks a Therapy Supervisor to oversee counseling services under the Behavioral Health Director. You will supervise clinicians, guide recruitment, onboarding, and provide formal supervision for interns, while ensuring treatment plans meet clinical standards.

You will also monitor productivity, staff evaluations, and contribute to quality outcomes and patient satisfaction across the program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline required; LCSW-C preferred.
• Active unencumbered professional license in good standing.
• MD state board oversight for graduate SW students is required.
• CPR certification (AHA-BLS/Provider) current.
• Maintain mandatory continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff under supervision.
• Manage staff performance, coaching, evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct regular one-to-one check-ins and annual appraisals.
• Review time cards, leave requests, and continuing ed funds; manage staffing gaps.
• Act as Clinical Supervisor for Clinical Interns.
• Ensure counseling aligns with protocols, ethics, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with BH Director to update staff and providers on guidelines.
• Advocate for patients and staff with empathy and cultural awareness.
• Monitor caseloads and ensure EMS scheduling in the system.
• Oversee treatment plan delivery and adjust as needed.
