Meridian Counseling is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to guide and develop the supervision of Associate Psychotherapists, ensure high-quality client care, and support the professional growth of the supervisory team.

The role emphasizes adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, ongoing staff performance evaluations, and collaboration with administration to coordinate care across departments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Clinical Licensure in the relevant state (CA) is required.
• Proven experience supervising clinicians in healthcare or mental health settings.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular triadic supervision to Associate Psychotherapists.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical work while offering guidance and feedback.
• Oversee the management of client cases, ensuring effective treatment planning and coordination of care.
• Request case presentations/video recordings to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach to achieve successful results and develop supervisees’ skills.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support growth.
