Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Part-Time Therapy Services Technician to support rehabilitation teams in our Springfield, MO location. You will assist with non-clinical tasks, transport patients to therapy sessions, and help maintain therapy spaces and equipment, enabling therapists to focus on direct patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Healthcare, customer service, or related experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists and therapy assistants with non-clinical support activities.
• Transport patients safely to and from therapy appointments.
• Prepare and maintain therapy treatment areas and equipment.
• Support the therapy team with essential departmental tasks.
• Foster a welcoming and positive environment for patients and families.
• Work collaboratively to support team goals and Mercy's Mission, Values, and Service Standards.
