Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a Therapy Supervisor for the Central Valley PACE program in Merced, CA. You will oversee Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreational Therapy staff, coordinating services for participants and ensuring high-quality care.

The role requires CA licensure as a Physical Therapist, at least two years serving frail elderly/disabled populations, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapist license required with experience serving frail elderly and disabled.
• Minimum two years’ experience with frail, elderly and disabled populations.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, orientation and supervision of therapy staff.
• Coordinate and supervise physical, occupational and recreational therapy services.
• Communicate program goals, risks and successes with administration.
• Develop and implement therapy groups and services per evidence-based practice.
• Ensure timely documentation and scheduling for therapy services.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and social workers for care plans.
• Maintain safety, infection control and professional standards.
